October 14, 1947 was a memorable day in sonic history. On this day Captain Charles "Chuck" Yeager piloted the Bell X-1, launched from the belly of a B-29 bomber, to a speed of Mach 1.06 (1299 km/h, 807 mph) and was credited with being the first man to break the sound barrier in level flight.
Michiel Mullink studied Music Technology and Sound Design for Media at the Utrecht School of Arts (HKU) and has worked for about two decades at a who’s who of Dutch audio post production studio’s where he has cut his teeth creating audio and music for an infinite amount of commercials.
